Steel Knitting

Spotted this on a visit the Hepworth at Wakefield.
It's a representation of a knitted textile structure but made in steel plate

Hi Chris, I really like the idea behind the image, but the bit that causes me problems is the break in the pattern on the far LHS where some uneveness spoils the transition. Cropping that out seems to retain the idea of the pattern marching into infinity without it being broken up, and if the image were mine I'd re-frame it to lose that area.

Thanks for that,I must admit I had missed that,it looks a lot better with that side cropped out.
