Steel wool!

This is a strange question and I'm not so sure as to where I should put it but does anyone know a decent place to buy steel wool? Unsoaped steel wool to be exact, the last lot I tried was absolutely caked in pink soap and it didn't work..

It's with the sandpaper in B&Q if that helps. Be careful though it's viscous stuff, given my self some nasty cuts with it.

As said B+Q sounds like you tried it with Brillo pads LOL, get a medium grade wool, fine stuff burns to quick

wilkinsons, do a bag that lasts forever for less than 3 quid, i've been using the fine but have just got some medium to try on the next shoot

But it's great for cleaning UV filters.
