Hi

Just wanted to verify that when using a 77mm CPL on a 67mm lens via a step up ring that I would use my 77mm wide angle lee adaptor to fit the step up ring when using ND grad filters?
Hadn't got round to replacing the 67mm consigned to the bin and thought the 77 would do for now and can be used on all my lens's- toyed with a 105 B&W but probably leave for now.

Yes - spot on.

Sounds like you're going to screw in the step up ring, then screw the CPL onto that, then screw the Lee w/a adaptor to the CPL? If so, dont forget that the CPL will rotate as you screw in the Lee adaptor. I hold the CPL still with a lens cloth when screwing in the Lee adaptor, but first set and check your CPL alignment for the scene you're shooting, and remember where it's set so you can put it back there once you've screwed the Lee adaptor to it.

Excellent, thanks for that and the tip with the CPL- kind of why I have been going through will I/ wont I phases on the 105 - saves the mucking about but been so busy lately my head has been minced- as you can tell from my gobbledygook:D
