Anyone know of the best priced and quality to get? Brought a cheap up branded one off eBay and only one thread does up tight
 
I think you've been unlucky. I've always just bought whatever I could find at what I thought was a reasonable price rather than sticking to brand names and I've never had a problem.

I'd just head on over to evil bay and buy whatever... but if you want to spend more I've always found Speedgraphic to be a good source of bits and pieces.

Thanks will have a look on there, might just bite the bullet and buy another from somewhere else
 
Google Jack the Hat Photographic.
They have plenty. Always good quality and not expensive.
 
+1 for Jack the Hat Photographic. I've just started using them for bits & pieces, including 2 step up rings. Both of those supplied so far have been "Kood" branded. I have asked several pre purchase questions via e-mail - I have been very impressed with the speed of reply, knowledge shown and overall friendliness of the correspondence. Hope this helps
 
I bought a set of the Neewer ones from Amazon for less than a tenner. Seem fairly sturdy and do the job fine
