I haven't seen smoke being use in a studio before (where you suffering from electrical problems?) But its ace, and the lighting on the model is wonderful.... Come to meantion it the model isn't to back either!

Well done. and if you shot that with a D40 and kit lens then hats off to you for being able to get that much skill with out suffering from gear lust.

I'm going to give this the imaginary "the best shot stuart has seen all week" award!

Nope the smoke was purposeful and not the lighting going into meltdown !

The model is one of the best models I have worked with. Amazing eyes.

It wasnt taken with the D40. I borrowed my mates D300S and done the shoot with that.

Good I'm glad you where using a D300S. I would feel properly humilated if you had wondered into a studio with a kit lens lit a newspaper in the coner and taken THAT image!

Ok Stuart. It was taken with my trust 1mp point and shoot lol

My usual camera is the d40 but I used the d300S for this shoot.

Trusty assistant with a smoke machine provided the smoke
