Stickers?

Hi All,

I would like to get some little ones printed with my company name and phone number on, so that if my kit is lost or stolen, there is also a reference to me to contact, as well as being handy to have on leads etc.. when on jobs, rather than other methods such as engraving etc...

Ideally to put on cameras, lens, chargers, laptops etc...

Just wondered if anyone new of any companies that sell decent and well made stickers, rather than those from standard personalised companies like Vistaprint, as I am worried that they will not hold after getting wet etc... as they are not plastic.

Thought there might be a company that specialises in this sort of thing?

If you want sturdier stickers, try having a look at companies that do asset tag labels for computers and equipment. Be warned that some of the labels have really strong adhesive that makes it harder to peel off in case you want to sell on your stuff

Wouldn't a thief simply rip off a sticker? Even if it has super strong adhesive, it'd be easy to deface.

Some are tamper proof. If you're not planning on reselling your equipment they can be worthwhile. The problem is cameras and especially lenses don't tend to have much flat space to stick a label too (needs to be smooth/flat).

Every single bit of kit at LensesForHire has little vinyl stickers on it, so that clients can identify what is ours when it's time to send it back. We get them from a company called DIGINATE. Good products, good service.
