Sto-fen green and gold omnibounce

Hi,

Rather than messing about with Velcro dots and coloured gels I was going to simply buy the sto-fen green and gold diffusers which I hope equate to window green and CTO gels in strobist speak. Can anyone confirm this is the case? What are your thoughts on these diffusers vs gels. Is the gold full CTO, 1/2, 1/4 or 1/8?

Wouldn't bother, you loose light and you need to buy one for each gel you want to replicate. More bulky to carry too. I prefer CTS to CTO anyway, better skin tones as its less orange. Just use a bit of gaffer tape and stick the gels on your lens hood or back of the flash and its always ready to use.

Just my opinion though
