Yes
Saw this last week in Norfolk. The stoat was transferring its young to a new den, first time i've seen this happen. Large crop on this due to distance.

Frac, I presumed it was moving them to another den as I watched it carrying one as I sat in the car (camera in car boot). It came out again, without the young one, and ran up the track and headed to where I had seen it come from before about 100 yards away. It then appeared and came back with another one, which I got these shots of, and took it to the same spot as the first one. I watched it for about forty minutes or so and took some shots of it returning to the young with food, which i'll post later.

I think what Frac means is that what it is carrying are baby rabbits.

Wouldn't it carry it's own young by the scruff of the neck, not the middle of it's back?

Thank's for the info Frac, Bluetooth and Janice. Amended the title now.

That is what I thought it was, cracking shot no matter what.............(y)

Thanks kaz, these were taken at Snettisham near one of the bird hides. Had a good first week, then things got a bit hectic the second when the grandson came so didn't get to do much with the camera.
