Stop dust when framing with acrylic / plastic

Any tips to eliminate dust when framing with acrylic?

I've tried using a soft brush but it left hairline swish marks on it when I held the acrylic in a certain angle. I'm not if this has scratched it or it is residue.

I've tried canned air, it helps but doesn't eliminate all dust.

A damp cloth, to kill any static attraction/charge, wipe of the piece before you peal off the protective film. Then a microfiber cloth to wipe any residual dust that 'creeps in'

PS AFAIK and based on limited experience ~ not all 'acrylic' is "acrylic". Some is Styrene and that is not as hard and as micro scratch resistant when compared to actual acrylic!

PPS at one time I was considering getting an anti-static brush.

Your correct, it is in fact Styrene! Dam.

I might get one of the brushes, are you meant to wipe it before and after you remove the protective sheet?
