storage size in 40d

I use sandisc extereme III 4Gb in mine
At around 20 quid each and a 10 year guarantee
I don't think you can go far wrong
 
About 333 in RAW
or Just over 1000 Jpegs
I usually buy from
Play.com Amazon or my memory
which ever is the cheapest at the time

edit don't buy from Ebay there are a lot of " good" forgeries out there!
they look real but.......
 
i've also a 40D and i can definitely recommend the use of Sandisk Extreme cards, personally i use Extreme III as they are well priced and i've never had any bother with them at all. i've a couple of 4gb and one 2gb all were bought from My Memory which seem to pretty good when it comes to delivery and price etc. each of the 4gb hold around 350 shots when shooting raw... hope this helps, Horizon...
 
Yep Sandisk Extreme cards are very good, super fast and very reliable.

I use an Extreme IV 2gb card, can get just over 500 shots on full quality, large JPEG, 150 on RAW and about 260 on sRAW.
 
Got a 4Gb Sandisk Extreme III with mine. Managed to get 1400 shots onto it in top quality jpeg yesterday.
