Again, beautifully composed Neil. You seem to have a talent for capturing compositions that just instill a sense of restlesstness in the viewer, by which I mean that you have a perfect composition and then introduce an element that just tips it off kilter. I think in this one it is the fact that the gate isn't in the field that the composition should lead to, but offset to the left. I think it is absolutely brilliant. I keep looking at it, but just don't get bored.
It is actually similar in tone and colour to some pictures that I have taken recently, but it utterly transcends my own work. I don't actually like the degree of HDR or tonemapping - I think you have just overdone it - but the composition completely overcomes that reservation. To me, this is brilliant work.
