went for a kitesurf today, but had to take these before hitting the water:

think i prefer the landscape verison.

Nice sense of drama there, and I agree, the landscape version is better. The foreground subject isn't as interesting as the large rock in the middle, though, nor the sky - is there scope to recrop to make more of these?

That looks suspiciously like Saunton Sands to me.

Nice shots. I've never actually been up on the dunes there. Also haven't been back since they banned the buggies.

the beach is bantham in south devon.

i'd love to try a kitecam sometime, but that sounds a bit expensive atm...
