I just wanted to share this with you as it is quite relevant and really does make you think about how fortunate we are.

With all the news on TV lately about the hurricanes that America is experiencing and recent mud slides in the Middle East and South America, we shouldn't forget that the UK has its share of devastating weather too - especially the night before last.

Below is a photo illustrating the damage caused to a friend's home in Cornwall from the recent storm that passed through.

It really makes you cherish what you have, and reminds us not to take things for granted.

That's awful, did anyone come to help them pick it back up. :LOL:
 
Nature can be so cruel.
It will take them months to recover from this.
Nice piece of photojournalism there...you're very brave to take risks to bring us a shot like that.
