Inspired by some of the great shots on here I took a trip to Donna Nook on New Years day. It was dark, grey and foggy. Not the sort of day for handballing a 500mm but I had some reasonable success.

What a great set. 1 and 5 are the ones that really stand out for me.
Would suggest that these are more than reasonably successful given what looks like difficult lighting conditions.

Thanks. I'll definitely be heading back there again on a better day. I should probably learn a bit about their breeding habits and go at a time when there are lots of pups.
