Strange WB problems.

Been messing about with some flahs gear i recieved from Flash in the pan. Its good stuff.

I was shooting 18-200 and the white balance (set to auto) was as aspected.

Switched to a 50mm 1.8D and this happened

Switched the WB setting to 'Flash' and this happened

then back to auto WB:

Very confused. :bonk: Whats going on? I can give people the exif datas. Very odd. Using chinese style triggers, D80 and a SB-600. Not going faster than 1/200!

Anyone got any ideas whats going on

Obviously when shooting RAW (I wasn't because i was experimenting) and the shots are imported to Lightroom, the WB is all over the place when shooting with flash...is this normal also?

No idea about the WB issue, it looks like it's switched to tungsten. :shrug:

As far as a faster synch speed is concerned, you need to switch "AUTO FP" to On. It's custom setting #25. You will probably not be able to fire the flash any quicker than 1/200 with the Chinese triggers though.
