Strathaven East Church Steeple Repair Work, May 2015

After my tree surgery thread earlier in the week, here's another set of people doing a specialised job. A work crew was doing some repairs to the steeple of the East Church in Strathaven, so I thought I'd pop along and see what I could get. I wanted to try and get them in some sort of context (i.e. rather than just have tight shots of the workers), and I was hoping to try and use a longer lens to keep them looking a decent size in the frame (rather than shooting close up with a wide lens and making them appear really small). I didn't have a lot of time to get shots in, so the results are a bit mixed. Let me know if they 'work' in your opinions, please.

I think you have documented the event really well and they are vvery well composed. A good mix of close and mid-range crops shows the detailed work and the work in context with the surroundings, well done.
