Street and a Door

While walking around Shrewsbury, there was this really interesting street. I didnt stop to take note of the name but the houses were quite posh.

They all had different door styles and colours. Im not a fan of taking photographs of doors but there was one that interested me.

I know theres a lot of noise and that couldnt be helped, the sun was behind the buildings in the street so it was covered in a dark shadow. I actually like the noise in this image though, makes it look older than what it is.

unfortunately vince, it was so dark that getting colour pics (I didnt have a tripod so couldnt do long exposures to bring it up) contained too much noise. I will re-visit though, I plan to go there on Sunday with the dogs for some walking so will take the tripod and give the area a good examination

Certainly is a lovely street, and I think it suits the B&W treatment. The first is very classic, though the shot of the door is on the verge of being a bit too noisy.
