I like these, the B&W conversions suit them. My favourite would have to be number 1, there is just something about that is very pleasing.

Clarke

Thanks Clarke, the first shot was taken at the Cafe during a sudden downpour of rain.

Like the photos, especially the processing. One thing is, as a set, seeing the word (partially) debenhams is really putting me off. Especially as its removing the nationality of the country where you took it. :)

Not sure it removes the nationality as such, that would like be saying the McDonalds/Coke/TDK signs on Piccadilly Circus remove the nationality of England from it? As such there is a Fiat Panda in the same shot. The world is a very intertwined place now with cultures old an new mixing. The abundance of signs, the architecture and the tramlines etc show you this isn't Britain. I can see where you are coming from though.

Great shots though, love the processing and the contrast etc looks perfect for my liking(y)

I also like the fact that there is an air of multi-culture in most countries now.

I like the "black and whiteness" of them. Very black and white. :) Which process do you use?

They are taken with a Fuji X-Pro-1 using Leica Lenses and I use Lightroom, set the highlights down and the whites down then use clarity to add the punch!

These are ok but I really think you've overdone the pp. Pushing the clarity has spoilt them IMO - they hurt my eyes to look at them.

Thanks for the feedback, I understand the ultra high contrast is not to everyones taste but I like it hahaha.

Ryan- dont really push the clarity that far mate just enough to add a contrasty punch to my personal taste

All a bit to busy for my taste, cant read the stories except the last one i like the contrast of tourist and vagabond

I love Prague and will be taking my camera over in November.

Visit Cafe boulevard and watch how many cars get pulled over for going down a 1 way road. apparently the sat-nav send 50 cars a day down the wrong road and it keeps the country going.

Enjoy it Carl.

I quite like the first but I'm afraid the rest just don't grab me. Street stuff can capture some amazing moments but there isn't much emotion here, sorry!
