Strong Glass? B+W MRC UV problem

Hi,

I bought a B+W MRC UV filter several months ago... I bought it because I heard the glass and coating is very strong and easy to be cleaned.

Yestday, when I was cleaning it with the Lenspen, I found some scratches on it...

The B+W MRC is be made of strong glass and with multi resistant coating and I usually clean it with my lenspen, but there was a couple of times I clean it with a normal Jessops lens cleaning cloth (I didn't wash the cloth that much)... Is it due to the dirty cloth that brought the scratches? Or did I purchase a fake B+W? I bought it from Amazon...I mean it was sold and dispatched by Amazon.

Any of you have the same problem with the B+W MRC UV?

You have to be so careful when cleaning with a cloth, any dirt on it will cause scratches.
I doubt that Amazon sold you a copy.

Thanks...yes I took a couple of shots, didn't see anything different.
