Woohoo! Just sourced a cracking Canon 24-70 2.8. Got a good deal with some other Camera gear, ended up paying more than £2000 for all the camera gear this guy was selling but it was too good a deal to give up...
Anyway.. I'll be trying out the non IS canon now. If I don't like it, I could always get the Tamron and sell this off. Will still be better off!
I didnt buy it because I wanted faster focus, I just dont have the time to introduce LR into the mix.
