i bought a Nikon Nikkor AF 50mm f/1.8D Prime Lens for Nikon for my nikon d5200 back in November and didnt use it until a few days ago but cannot get to grips with it. On ebay it said it is compatable with my camera but failed to tell me it had no built in auto focus and had to be focused manually.
My are are not the best even when looking through my diopter i am not certain if they are in perfect focus. I just wanted the lens for special events but dont want blurry photos. My stock lens took better pictures what do i do ?
do i keep it until i get the hang of things or resell it ori get a lens with built in internal focus.
I was really looking forward to those close up xmas decoration pictures too.
Any advise guys.
