Hey I am a mature student in Teesside looking for work experience in basically any style of photography as possible I started my diploma in September 2010 after leaving my profession I am always looking to grow my portfolio as I find that there is no point waiting till my education is over to be thrown in at the deep end. I love working in different styles of Events and Live performance but I really want to have the versatility to cover anything

I would appreciate any help with a push in the right direction

Best thing to do Lizzi is to start posting your images on here, get your name known a bit.

Take criticism and work on it, improve, comment on others photos, hang around in the business section and basically make contacts.

Then, keep your eyes open for 2nd tog opportunities and meet ups in your local area.

I've had a nosey through your portfolio, you got a lot of nice shots, 1 or 2 that are very nice, and a few I personally wouldn't have on there. Portfolio should be your best work.

For instance, you have 2 photos of a fire performer that are in B&W. With fire you are better off with colour, its one of the things that makes it so fascinating to look at :)
