I'd like to try some new photo paper and wondered what everyone else uses. I'm not looking to do a huge amount of printing, just a few prints 'here and there'.

I have an Epson R300, so I guess Epson papers would be the first choice, but what about the likes of Ilford, Fotospeed and Permajet...?

I've used gloss before and I'll look at getting some more, but I'd also like to try matt and semi-matt (or whatever it's called) with a thickness similar to lab printers

So, what does everyone use...?
 
For my serious stuff I use Permajet Photo Art Pearl but this is expensive for general prints I use Permajet Qyster. It is competitively priced and looks magic. I know a couple of Pro Wedding photographers who use just Oyster. I would give it a godd & make sure you down load the ICC profiles.

Looking towards framing so I guess matt/pearl is the way to go so i may not bother getting more gloss

Prices seem about right :thinking:
 
Kirkland do some good papers but I've only seen it in 6x4 and A4 in size
Illford smooth pearl was a brilliant paper I have used in the past to
