He would need to go into a camera shop, handle the cameras he's looking at and decide from there. No one can tell you if its a good or bad camera for someone else as its down to preference.
I prefer Nikons but that's just me. I currently use a Nikon D3100 (the one before the D3200) and found it to be a great beginners camera but I had previously used Nikons and preferred the layout as opposed to Canon.
This is always a purely personal decision.

my friend want to buy new dslr

canon d550
nikon d5100
nikon d3200
can any one suggest
which will be good as he is beginner in photography
I'm sure there are 2 current threads running with this exact question. Might be worth reading them, they already have a number of answers posted.
I was looking at those, and went for the 550D in the end purely because of the feel and I'm used to Canon's menu system. I found the D3100/D3200 to be fairly small and have awkward button placement so at the end of the day its what your friend feels comfortable using. They're all great starter DSLR's.
Could also add the 600D to the list, its pretty much the same as the 550D but with a swivel screen like the D5100.
