Critique Sunlight through trees

Took this a while ago but didn't do much with it at the time, been looking at it again and not sure if it would be better in black and white, any thoughts?

I like this! I think its better in colour to be honest.

As a composition thought, I wonder how it would have looked at a slightly different angle with the path coming across the view at more of an angle to give more of a windy path style, rather than just straight up through the middle?

Also think this may work nice as a wider crop rather than standard 3:2?
