Sunrise/sunset calculator

[hoolio]

A few days ago someone posted a link to a site that would tell you dawn and sunset times specifically for your postcode but I don't seem to be able to find it, can anyone help?

Yes, done that. It's just the site had other useful stuff as well but the P.E. will be useful as well.
Thanks.

This may help http://photoephemeris.com/ It gives sun/moon rise & set and where they will rise and set anywhere in the world. So if you are looking for a time when the sun will set say over a particular bridge you can get it with this

[cdiver2]

example of what you get. For rise The sun is the yelow line the moon is the blue the dark line to the left is sun and moon set in the same location other wise there would be 2 lines for set

If you happen to have an android phone there is a great app i use, Sundroid. It plots just about everything you want to know on top of google maps

I've got LightTrac on the iPad. Offers similar features i.e. sunrise, sunset for given postcode, but also incorporates a map and direction of sun.

The met office online and app will tell you straight away.

In fact, the iPhone/android app finds you on gps and tells you the exact times to within a few metres of where you are standing.
