sunset over pendle hill

went climbing last night and this was the view on the way home.

Love the colours. I've decided that we don't have sunset in Aldershot as I've never seen any colour in the sky - it just goes dark

Nice shot! Where is that? I'd like to see a bit more of the foreground. The HDR treatment might suit the shot.

Pendle Hill CT...Yon hill of witches, and myths and curses and stuff....

I've always wanted to go up there, especially with me being quite local to it...
May just do that quite soon Especially with shots like this to spur me on

we were about five miles from Burnley in Lancashire up on the moors looking out towards Pendle Hill. Dont know the name of the place, just know how to get there.

I usually prefer your edits CT but the original wins for me this time. You have made the forground visible and it is not very interesting. The original makes you wonder whats in the forground but I don't like the answer

Fair comment Robert. Not that keen myself. Something between the two would do it for me, but it's tricky to get the balance right.
