Sunset reflection

By popular request (cough) I'm posting this - it's quite a big crop from the original and I suspect it is a case of the bigger the better.

Like a lot of mine it doesn't really fit into any of the forum categories but I seem to be in "Landscapes" a lot at the moment......

Well that's different. Nice colours but when I saw the title I was expecting a big vista reflection.

I'm liking the abstracts at the moment (yes, I know its a landscape)
Maybe they should be referred to as Abstract Landscapes?

I like the sharpness and the colours.
Have you considered cloning out the plant life?

I wondered if anyone would suggest that. The original has quite a lot more of it , which I cropped out, but at the time I thought it kind of rooted the image into reality. (Does that sound pseud....?).

I might, its so surreal and different you might as well go the whole minimalist hog.

Agree, it's all about the colours and patterns so for me the small plants are just a distraction. I like it though, different in a good way.

Really like this, but the little bits of weed definitely don't help IMO, kind of spoils the illusion, like Ruth says it could almost be molten metal
