A series of sunsets taken on Sunday at Lytham St Annes. I was trying to capture the various qualities of light. For once I was spoilt for choice.

As always comments and suggestions welcome.

No.s three and four for me great light and reflections on the water. A very nice set of images Geoff(y)

Great set, love the portrait view as well. Have to say, there and four, for me as well!

2 and 6 for me! Great set here [emoji106]

Thanks, Steve, BMG and Andy. For once I was spoilt for choice, for each one I posted here there were 5 or 6 that were equally as good. I did do some in landscape, but they didn't have that 'big view' look. I was surprised by just how colourful they were, all straight out of camera, no processing except to resize.

Very nice set, although 1 & 2 are underexposed given how high the sun still is in the sky.
Lovely colours.

While I agree with Ruth that the first 2 are slightly underexposed, IMO that's purely a technical observation - a "correct" exposure wouldn't have given the skies the same effectiveness that the undercooking has. If I was going to get very picky, I'd point out that some of the horizons are very slightly awry but it's a very slight angle they're at. IMO, there's a touch too much empty black space in numbers 4 and 6. There might be a little more detail that could be brought up in PP or it could simply be cropped down a bit. Note that that's for MY taste though! I'm a sucker for a sunset - got hundreds (if not thousands!) of similar shots clogging up assorted HDDs!
