"Surface Go" Announced

It has a "wimpy Pentium 4415Y" processor, unfortunately, but should be OK for web and emails.

Until the reviews are out it's all just speculation, I would think a kaby-lake series 4-thread processor can handle more than just web and emails, considering our Atom based S3's run perfectly fine with the exception of the eMMC sluggishness which I'm hoping the 128Gb SSD version doesn't suffer with. You have to take into consideration that Microsoft are not replacing the Surface Pro with this, and so if you need more power you have options.

Processor - "If you're looking for speed, the Surface Go isn't for you. However, the Intel Pentium Gold Processor 4415Y (which sits just below Core M) should give you plenty of pep for surfing the web, reviewing and marking up documents and checking email. Note that the system runs Windows 10 in S Mode out of the box, which promises speedier performance and better security."
