went for dip in pembroke yesterday. it was a bit bloody cold so i lasted an hour and a half and got out to take some pics as it was a lovely day.

50mm f1.8

these are all from the sigma 70-300 apo dg at f8

made me laugh shouldnt've really tho as its only a few feet deep.

it's a great lens if you get a good'un. i'd recommend trying it out in the shop tho. i love mine and despite it being a bit slow and not quite engough reach it's an absolute bargain compared to the competition :thumb:

cropped a few a little closer as i think the tighter framing works better, wish i had a 500mm lens, but this will have to do for now

Some really good action shots, tighter framing definately pulls you into the action more.
Also good that you havent cropped them all too far though - means you have managed to keep a sense of scale (particularly in that last shot).
