Its good but I myself wouldn't want to be up high on such a still day but right down at the shores edge making the most of these reflections

I managed to be at the waters edge too Steve I am happy with I got on the shore too

You were definitely in the right place - both for photography and simply to enjoy being up there. Love the way the lake makes a big slab of blue, so much better than the three hundredth shot from the northern shore.

Surprise view is in ladore wood you carry on past Ashness Bridge and at a large car park get out and walk to the edge a that is the view. It should be geotagged on Flickr.
