Swans in the dark

Left it a bit late as usual it was almost too dark.. infact it was

These chaps came across ice to get to us ,it was so funny to watch them sliding on their bellies ,every so often we heard the ice making cracking sounds and one of the swans would fall through the ice ,i couldn't hold the camera for laughing.. anyways hav a wee look,C&C welcome

Well worth being out late in the cold. I always feel sorry for them coming into land on ice - looks funny from our view but it must come as a shock to them.

cheers chaps ,they were swimming towards us, then they sort of waddled onto the ice so i wouldn't have thought they'd come to any harm , was amazed at how friendly they were considering their out in the wild. Yeh i might pop down a wee looky Dod depends on the weather ,thinking it'll be a bit of a quagmire
