Today's shots come from Swansea Bay. The aim was to catch the sunset. But we missed it and to be honest i think it was a good thing.

Again this was taken on a Nikon D3100 with a 18-55 lens. Comments, Criticism and advice is hugely appreciated.

Quite like the second one but I'm not really a fan of the crops or the composition on any of these. The image quality seems a bit iffy. What ISO were you shooting these at?
 
ISO 800 is too much, unless you were shooting hand held in pretty poor light. Did you have a tripod?
 
Im pretty sure it was on a Auto ISO setting. It was all hand held. Im struggling with alot of my pics to be honest with crispness.
 
#1 has too much f/g and not enough contrast
#2 is a better crop
#5 I'd crop about an inch off the top
#6 I like as it is

I'd recommend you get yourself a tripod for landscape shots and then set iso to 100
