Swapping my DSLR for a 4/3?

Since buying a Canon EOS 500D (the Jessops package with two lesnes, bag, flash etc) I have found that I am still mainly shooting film with my OM40, Trip and Yashica Rangefinder and am finding the 500D quite cumbersome. I am thinking of swapping it for a more compact micro 4/3 Olympus or something similar.

It would be quite useful to keep a digital, but not one that will dominate the bag in quite the same way.

Any thoughts? And do you think I'll get a reasonable amount for the 500D and kit (about 3 months old).

Thanks!

There are plenty of m43 v's dslr bun fights on here, have a dig and you'll find them.

Why not google some m43 images and ask yourself if they are good enough quality for you.

I'm a gf1 owner also and love the 20/1.7 lens on it.. But seriously considering the nex-7 from Sony with apparently a great evf and manual controls.
If I was going m4/3 now it would probably be g3 for me. I really miss a viewfinder on the gf-1 and don't want an accessory really.

I've gone full circle now. Sold the D80 to get a GF1. Now sold the GF1 and using a Fuji S5 Pro.
The GF1 hardly got used this year except for my son using it at a wedding and me taking some IR shots.
The 20mm F/1.7 is a cracking lens on the GF1 & it produces stunning pics.
