The shots were taken early morning after a night camping out. I had a bit too much to drink the night before and woke up early with a hangover. So I went for a walk with my camera to clear my head a bit. And I saw the Swift feeding her chicks; I was only 5 feet or so away from them. But they didn’t seem to mind me being there at all. Every time the Mum came back I fired off a few frames in the hope of capturing a good shot. I managed to get around 3 shots that are really good and a few that are ok. A bit of fill flash was used to get the balance between the Birds and the Sky.
The 2nd of my swift pictures that i have put on the site. Taken the same way as the other, this is one of the few good shots i got. I cloned out one of the branches in this shot, as i was told it was distracting.
