Anyone who has not tried to grab shots of these birds in flight probably does not realise what a challenge it is.

I spent 90 minutes this afternoon trying to get in flight shots of swallows and housemartins.
The action was almost constant - plenty of them flying around me.
What did I get to show for it .......... zilch!!

Game on! Nice shot - hard to get these when they are in flight

I have a small flock (11 or so) outside, constantly chirping and screeching almost all day long, they are loving it. Haven't even tried to capture one - will give it a go tomorrow

The 2nd one is brilliant, I have had a go but getting anything sharp and in focus is impossible!

As others have said they are nigh on impossible to shoot, so well done on geting anything in focus.

Number 2 is a great shot
