Swiss Arca Plate/L-Bracket and Black Rapid Strap

Morning all. I'm going to be using some form of Swiss Arca Plate or ideally L-Bracket on my D600. Since I use a Black Rapid Strap, I'm trying to find a simple solution for using both. Would appreciate suggestions.

There are a million posts on this around the web if you google. Or I've just got one of these Luma Membrane jobbies that works well, with a bit of Velcro to stop it flapping around when not in use http://luma-labs.com/products/m-connect

Cheers hoppy. Did you mean to link the luma twice or was there another product?

Have been doing plenty of reading on this subject this morning though oddly found very few posts on tp.

Like the simplicity of the m-connect. Possibly considering a sunwayfoto l- bracket too and can't see any reason why they wouldn't work together.

Search 'black rapid arca swiss' in google images and you'll find loads of stuff. I've tried a few things myself and as I say, for me it boils down to those two above. I'm pleased with the Luma Membrane - simple, effective, unobtrusive, and I like angle the camera hangs from it with an L-bracket. I had to cut a different hole to get it how I wanted, though that's v easy :thumbs:

For heavier stuff, I attach the strap directly to the lens collar/plate. Get a slightly longer plate so it overhangs, you want that anyway to adjust balance on a tripod (the regular type of camera plate with a recess) and drill a 10mm hole in the corner.
 
I just screw the BR attachment into the bottom of the Arca plate or L-Bracket.

If there's a spare threaded hole (most L-brackets, but not many regular plates) that works too :)

I've got a mixture of RRS and Kirk and they're all compliant.....the Arca plates are the camera specific versions.
