Sycamore Gap Photos

Unfortunately, someone has cut down the tree in sycamore gap. Please share a picture of it if you have one so we can see what was lost.

Great idea for a thread. I've nothing to share I'm afraid - I was planning to head up there in a few weeks. It never occurred to me that I might be too late

Turns out I've got lots of infrared pictures of it, but only a couple of normal pictures at odd angles.

I persuaded my family to come see it in the worst possible light and weather. December. Flat light. Towards the end of the afternoon. etc etc.

So the pictures I took are nothing more than a record of the fact that we went there.

Tipped it down, and we were all covered in mud. And soaked.

I enjoyed the walk, but when I told my daughter about it being cut down said "Well at least you can't drag us all to go see it again"
