Sykes memorial night photography

I headed out this week to try to have a go at star trail photography. A couple of my pics, one with a trail and the other showing the milky way against the sykes memorial near Sledmere East Yorkshire

The Milky way shot was taken at f/4 the widest aperture my lens would open to. 20 secs to not allow the stars to drag and 4000iso. I used a small torch to light the structure.
The star trail shot was a stack of 4 shots with 12 minute exposure each f/4 and 200 iso. I used StarStax software to stack the images.

Two great shots. I especially like the second one with the centre of the revolving sky just above the point of the memorial.
