sync issues at 1/100th?

Hi Guys

Bit of a stanrge one, I was at a shoot yesterday, we where using radio triggers on studio lamps. In one of the cameras we started seeing our shutter curtain on the edge of the frame on some images at 100th of a second. I thought you needed to be closer to 250th?

DO you know what might have caused this?

How fresh were the batteries in the triggers? You can get all sorts of sync problems once they start to run down...

the reciver in the flash head was driven by mains power! but not sure about the battery in the sending unit.

I had the transmitter battery on my skyports give me this problem, receiver is rechargable, didn't touch that just changed the battery in transmitter and all sorted
