I'm on T-mobile and just noticed that I now seem to be able to use the Orange 3G network when previously I have only got 2G connectivity.

Not sure how widespread this facility is but it could be useful as it's sometimes been a bit frustrating being limited to just 2G when I'm in an area with perfectly good Orange 3G but a weak T-mobile signal.

I've had 2G data roaming for a while now (the little "o" icon), but it's only today that I've noticed the "3G" icon showing when I'm roamed to the Orange network.
 
The 3G share was supposed to start on the 18th (IIRC) and is being done on a regional basis, so you must be in one of the first areas to be done.
