Hello
I am looking into buying a tablet.
I would like the tablet to be able to view photos from a sd card or connect my camera to the tablet using usb. I would also like to be able to go on the internet with it as well.

I am not looking to spend mega amount of money on it.
Is this possible, because I have read a few reviews and people seem to be struggling?

I have already sent one tablet back, as it did not do any of the above without having mega problems.

Thanks for your advice

I suggest waiting a couple of months. Tablets will become cheaper and more integrated. They are a bit of a hack at the moment as the first products out on the market find their place with Android.... I'm just testing a 10" Advent one at the moment. It will be great for wehat I want, but isn't plug and play just yet. If you want that now, you'll have to go to the walled garden (i.e. closed system - it does what Apple allow you to do) approach of an iPad.

PS. The advent Vega is the same tab as the POV Mobii Tegra tablet 10.2" in the above link.

I'm also pretty computer savvy so don't have any issue with flashing custom ROMs (which is what's needed to get these things working well at the moment).

Give it 6 or so months and either the Android market will have fizzled into complete diversity (unlikely) or converged into a nice pad based market.

BTW, I'm happy so far with my Vega, but I knew the shortcomings and technical hurdles to jump through to get it to do what I wanted it to do.

I couldnt agree more with arad85 these technologies are new and the best advice is always to wait for the initial models to get improved. Historically version 1.0 of anything is usually lacking. e.g. Iphone, ipad, kindle etc etc etc.......
