How strict are the NEC about taking cameras in to exhibitions? I am going to the cycle show tomorrow as my bother really wants to check some bikes out but they have a night cycle race at the end of the day so I said I would go with him and take some shots of the racing. I just checked their terms and conditions and is says "The use of cameras and recording equipment is prohibited." http://www.cycleshow.co.uk/page.cfm/link=371
How strict are they on this?
I would be using my 1Dx so although I wouldn't be taking photos commercially it might look like I am. What I don't want is to take my gear only to be told I can't take it in and have £1000s of gear sitting in my car all day at the mercy of some thieves.
