Tall flash bracket ?

Anyone recommend a tall flash bracket for use with a flash plus better beamer and will fit onto a manfrotto 393 gimble head? Camera is 1dmkiii and lens is 100-400L ...... all the brackets I have found don't seem to have enough height to get well above the lens :shrug:

Any ideas?

manfrotto make an extending bracket,it's about 14" tall and fits on a tripod clamp.
BTW I have one which I dont use

Thanks Chris ............ i've got one as well ......... doesn't work with the set up as it needs to be sort of "C" shaped to get round/above the lens

I've used "Beamers" on various Canon Speedlites (430EX, 550EX and 580EXII) and wonder what you're trying to achieve by raising it up so far.
Hotshoe mounted with a 600/4 shows very little fall off due to the lens hood.
The "Beamer's" Fresnel gives coverage pretty similar to 300mm AOV (FF) if the flash head is zoomed to 50mm. Go wider with the flash zoom and the light projection will narrow, zoom out and the projected circle will widen.
The more you move the "Beamer" from the lens axis, the smaller your range of focal plane distances will be. If you're aiming at a fixed distance (ie, a perch) then you can calibrate the angle accordingly but if your distance to subject is going to vary somewhat then you'll need to realign the "Beamer" on a shot by shot basis.
