Hi all,

I am planning to buy a camera backpack with some space for a pack lunch etc. After extensive research have finally decided to go with Tamrac Adv. 7.

Not sure if anyone has got this here, as most recommendations were for Lowerpro ones.

Any inputs welcome. Thanks.

The Tamracs can be quite weighty before anything is actually in them, so the one I went for was the Lowepro Fastpack 200 .. not too big but space for lunch.
Get a better warranty with Lowepro too

Hi, I have a adventure 7.

In the bottom I fit a nikon d7000 with 17-105 vr, a 70-300 vr and a 50mm 1.8 along with flashgun. The top part will fit a lunch in but if you have a big appetite you may struggle because the room is adequate but not generous. :)
 
I have an adventure 7, great bag. It holds my 5D with 24-70 attached, 40D with 18-50, my 80-200, 28-105, 50, 85, 2xflashes, triggers etc. Plus a laptop! Not the lightest but comfy non the less.

Do we have the same bag? There seems to be a big difference in the storage capacity of each bag....:)........where do you fit in the laptop? Could we see a pic?
 
For a cheaper option you might consider Jessops Trek 2, not very cool I will admit but I find it does the job. I get a d50 with 18-135 plus a 70-300, flash gun and a small pair of binoculars in mine, with room in the top section for waterproofs , sandwiches etc. Not too much in the way of extra pockets but for £29 as I think they are now it might be an idea, plus for security reasons it doesn't really look like a camera bag.

Finally decided to go with Tamrac Adventure 7. Quite smart and trendy compared to Lowepro ones..but yes, slightly in the heavier side compared to lowpro ones...
