Has anybody got one of these and if so what are your opinions of this bag?

I like the look of the size of both the camera and other compartments and the quick access. The other appealing feature to me that is understated in black and just looks like a normal rucksack.

If anybody has an alternative for the same kind of money I am open to recommendations.

I don't have the 85 but do have the 75. I bought it a few weeks ago for a 2 day trip to Italy, Romania and Germany and found it to be most comfortable.

I didn't have a great deal in the camera section itself, just my 40D, 70-200 f/4 L and some small binoculars but managed to squeeze a clean t shirt, phone charger, camera charger and a couple of other bits into the top section. The small cargo net style pocket on the side was handy to keep liquids in when passing through airport security as I could just whip them out without having to open the bag.

The dividers in the camera section can be adjusted to suit your gear and thankfully there is a velcro strap that extends across the camera. I say thankfully because I picked up the bag forgetting that the front zip was open and a kind German chap returned my bins to me after they had fallen out. The aforementioned strap saved my 40D and 70-200 from the same fate
Saying that, the side 'entrance' was used most of the time which I found to be quite handy. My mate has an official Canon bag and had to take it off everytime he wanted something out of it. No such problem with the Tamrac.

There are also some small pockets inside the bag which came in handy for my passport etc... so handy in fact that I spent an hour looking for my passport yesterday before going through the bag for the 3rd time and remembering said pocket :bang:

The design of the bag makes it look like a standard rucksack which is exactly what I wanted.
