Having struggled with a Crumpler messenger style bag and tripod over the shoulder I have been looking for a backpack but one with the ability to carry a large tripod (Manfrotto 055xpro and 3 way head) as well as my gear.
I have a Canon 7d but wanted to be able to put it in the bag with my 400mm 5.6 L attached, plus additional lenses and various bits.
The Tamrac is spot on, has a great Tripod carrying/strap system, and plenty of space inside for Canon 7D, 100mm Macro, 70-200 F4, 15-85MM and 400mm.
Plus lots of storage for accessories.
Seems very well made, comfortable, good padding etc...
Picked it up from Digital Depot Stevenage in the sale £99, which I think makes it a good buy.
