Anyone got one at all?

Looks just about perfect for a cheapish light bag for holiday but i just want to make sure i can get my 70-200 2.8 IS mkII in it standing up? There's a review in a monthly [PP] suggests you can but the dimensions don't quite stack up. The lens with caps on is 23.5 cm, bag height 23 total then to confuse further inner dimension 15cm??

Help anyone?

I personally ignore dimensions after hearing that the mini trekker was 30cm in depth and when I tried it in a shop it was more like 15cm.

go on flickr and type in Tamrac system 3 and it should come up with hundreds of images of the bag with gear in, its what I do when i need to see how much a bag can fit in it.

I've got one - just got out the tape measure and checked.

The maximum length for a lens stood up is 18cm.
My 150mm Macro is 16cm and I wouldn't really want to have anything much longer in there.

The 'lid' of the bag contains an internal zipper pocket, so that probably accounts for the extra height in the specified dimensions.

It's a nice enough bag. I use it for a body, a couple of macro lenses and strobes.

Take a look at the Tamrac 5605 which is very similar but just a bit taller.
