Can't decide which one to get! It seems from the reviews that it's pot luck with either of them if you will get a good copy or not. Which one is better generally - for getting a good copy and overall (if they are both good copies)!

Thanks

Do what I did, get the Tokina 11-16mm f2.8. It's more expensive but you get what you pay for. And it,s well worth it.

I've said it before, if you don't like photography buy the Tamron 10-24:naughty::D

I'd only buy Sigma's from a bricks and mortar shop so you can at least get a decent copy with minimal hassle. Why they are unable to improve their tolerances is beyond me. Still, I am obviously very fussy as many people swear by Sigma in general. I have used a good 10-20 and it performs well.

Having said that and having used them all, the Tokina 11-16 is still the one to go for but of course it depends on the price you put on taking pictures.

I've the Sigma 10-20mm and am very pleased with it. For the limited use mines gets I couldn't justify the extra for the Canon 10-22mm

The 10-20 is a fantastic lens, I absolutely loved mine. I'd go for that one all day long.
